Manson School Board Organized 12/19/2011
At last weeks meeting The Manson School Board underwent minor organizational changes as they welcomed newly elected board members and thanked outgoing board members for their service.
 
Incumbent Board member Aurora Flores was unable to attend last weeks meeting and will be sworn in at January’s board meeting.
 
The board heard a report on the progress of the Options Program in its pilot year with Manson Schools. The program was developed when the ChelanValleyIndependentSchool closed its doors before finding a new home within the MansonSchool District.
 
Charlton said overall the program seems to be working nicely but the district does want to explore ways to improve the program if they should decide to carry it into the next school year.
The Manson School Board meets the fourth Monday of each month. They meet next on January 23rd, 2012.
