Winthrop Council Wrap-Up 12/9/2011
At Wednesday evenings meeting The Winthrop town Council adopted the 2012 Town Budget as well as wrapping up other end of the year business.
 
The council must have been feeling the Christmas spirit as they considered a proposed amendment to water and sewer development fees. Winthrop Mayor Dave Acheson said the amendment would help bring a local business back to life.
 
If the Winthrop Council chooses to adopt the code amendment fees for the RV Park will go from over $30,000 to about $5,000.
 
The Winthrop Town Council meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. They will meet one more time this year on Wednesday, December 21st.
