Bridgeport School Levy Plans 12/5/2011

Like most school districts in the state, Bridgeport is waiting to see what happens in Olympia before making any final decisions on their Maintenance and Operations levy. The State Legislature is currently meeting in Special Session trying to patch a nearly $2 Billion dollar budget hole. Education is one of the areas targeted for cuts but no one knows how deep those cuts will be.

Bridgeport Superintendent, Scott Sattler says the board is working hard to come up with a financial plan by their next board meeting on the 21st.
