Sixth annual “My Lake Chelan" 12/5/2011
Photo” contest has concluded and the winning images have been selected.
First prize of $300 was awarded to Malcolm Keithly of Wenatchee,
Washington. Malcolm’s image was shot from the seaplane that flies from
Chelan to Stehekin, among other places!

Second place and $200 goes to Scott Harder from Mill Creek, Washington
for a great sunset shot taken from Wapato Point. Our Third place winner
is from Blaine, Washington – Cheryl Greathouse with a fun image of her
daughters being pulled across the lake on a tube. The third place winner
receives $100. Thank you to all those who sent their “My Lake Chelan”
photo submissions. Choosing the top three is always a challenge, but our
judges love to see the pictures that are sent.

The 2012 “My Lake Chelan Photo” contest begins now, and entries must be
received by September 30, 2012. For this year we are asking that you only
send shots of your friends and family having fun at Lake Chelan. No
scenics this year, please! But remember, in order to qualify for the
contest we need a signed release for any identifiable faces in the shot.

We want you to send pictures of playing in the lake, hiking, biking,
golfing, participating at Winterfest, the Cruizin’ Car Show, the Rodeo …
wherever you spend time at the Lake having fun!

Top three prizes will again be awarded; first $300, second $200 and third
