Entiat High School sports teams will compete with other 1B schools starting next year.
The Entiat School board voted unanimously to drop a classification after enrollment numbers did not increase as high as they previously anticipated.
Superintendent Mike Wyatt says student athletes have been playing at the 2B level for the past two years despite enrollment numbers that would put them in the 1B division.

The Entiat School board reviewed and approved the district learning improvement plan and renewed their annual agreement with the Wenatchee Valley Technical Skill Center at their last meeting as well.
The Entiat School District meets the third Thursday of each month, the next meeting Thursday, December 15th.
