Entiat Park To Get $7 Million Facelift 11/17/2011
Chelan County PUD officials are teaming up with Entiat City officials to design a $7million renovation to the Entiat Park.

Chelan County PUD officials are teaming up with Entiat City officials to design a $7million renovation to the Entiat Park.

 

The facelift is a part of the re-licensing for Rocky Reach Dam and as the oldest park owned by Chelan County PUD, it is ready for the transformation.

 

Kris Pominack, Recreation and Resource Advisor for the PUD says that she expects that bids will be solicited for contractors in July and adds the park will likely be closed for the 2013 season.

Pominack says that visitors to the Entiat Park after it’s completion can expect the same high quality clean and green park that the PUD is known to own.

The design is nearing completion and includes overnight camping, RV sites, Group sites, two community parks and a boat launch.
