NCNB Announces Branch Closures 11/4/2011
North Cascades National Bank announced today plans to close its branches in Coulee City and Bridgeport, effective February 3, 2012. “After careful evaluation of our branch network and operating efficiencies, we are consolidating our branch locations. While it was a difficult decision to close two branches, we are confident that the impact on our valued customers of both branches will be minimal and we look forward to continuing to serve their banking needs at nearby branches and through services such as Online Banking and extended phone hours,” said Scott Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer.

The bank has no plans to close other branches at this time. A September 17, 2011 Seattle Times article about the health of Washington-based banks noted that for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 North Cascades National Bank posted the third highest return on average equity, a widely used measure of profitability. NCNB remains committed to delivering highly personalized financial services to individuals and businesses in the communities of North Central Washington.
