The Washington State Patrol is reporting that two individuals were injured in a single car rollover accident that happened Friday morning on 97A, just east of WalMart near Chelan.

Two individuals were transferred to Lake Chelan Community Hospital after the car they were traveling in hit a rock wall and flipped.

The report states that the driver of the car, William Sims, of Tonasket, failed to negotiate the vehicle after a passing car forced them into gravel on the shoulder. Sims overcorrected, crossing both lanes of traffic before striking a rock wall, rolling and coming to a rest in its top.
