Minimum wage will be raised to $9.04 in Washington State beginning January 1, 2012. The minimum wage is adjusted each year to account for inflation.

The current minimum wage for the state of Washington is $8.67, and after the increase to $9.04, the state will continue to have the nation’s highest minimum wage.
