Five years ago Chelan County Public Utility District received a new federal license to operate the Lake Chelan Hydro Project for 55 years.

The PUD is hosting a public meeting for residents near Lake Chelan to discuss how the first five years have gone.

Steve Lackowitz, communications Director with Chelan County PUD says the meeting is to give the public the opportunity to ask questions and voice concerns. It is also a chance for the PUD to share how things are working."CLICK HERE" for Audio

Lackowitz also says the PUD plans to hold a follow meeting after they review all comments and ideas gathered from the meeting Monday.
