Congressional Redistricting is dominating the discussion amongst those active in politics. The subject is extremely complex and occurs every 10 years. This time around it will add an additional congressional district in the State of Washington with a lot at stake.

Wyss  reminds us that this process doesn’t work without public comment, and encourages everyone to look at the proposed maps, and then let the redistricting commission know what you think.

The Washington State Redistricting Commission will host a public hearing in Olympia next Tuesday, October 11th. They hope to have a final map available for public review on November 11th before sending it to the legislature for approval by Jan. 1, 2012.
