According to taskforce spokesman, Sergeant Chris Forman, the plants were discovered at the residence after a tip was called into the Columbia River Drug Taskforce.

Sergeant Forman said there were three residents at this location, all of whom have a valid individual medical marijuana card, allowing each cardholder to cultivate 15 plants. The Drug Taskforce found around 100 plants at the residence.

Federal law does not allow individual use of medical marijuana; however Washington State law does allow individuals to grow marijuana for medical purposes with a prescription from a doctor.
