Manson Fire District 5 responded to an early morning fire this morning, at the Manson United Methodist Church.

Fire Chief Arnold Baker said the fire burned an area of Juniper bushes outside and the building itself was not affected.

According to Chief Baker, the fire is under investigation and appears suspicious at this time and gives us insight to the incident and explains why this fire appears suspicious.

Chief Baker said he will be going back to the scene to take a second look to try to find exactly what started this fire.
