Discover Pass 9/20/2011
Washington State is one of the last states to implement an access fee for recreation lands managed by the State Parks and Recreation Commission. This new fee comes in the way of the Discover Pass, which took effect July 1st, and is now required to access State Parks.

Virginia Painter, Spokeswoman for Washington State Parks, says the new Discover Pass Program is a solution to a money issue, and explains why this new fee is so important to state parks."CLICK HERE" for Audio
