Chelan County sheriff’s deputies worked with U.S. marshals early yesterday morning to arrest three people accused of being involved in the June 11th murder of a man in Richmond, Va.
The three were arrested without incident just before 6 yesterday morning in Chelan as the vehicle in which they were riding left a residence, according to Bob Doty, a deputy U.S. marshal in Spokane. The hometowns of the suspects were not available.
24 year old Noel Garcia and 23 year old Evelin Jakelin Escalon-Murillo were arrested on warrants out of Richmond charging conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Doty said a third suspect, Everado George Dela Mora, is believed to have driven the other two suspects to Chelan. Dela Mora is charged with being an accessory after the fact.
The suspects’ ties to the Chelan area are not immediately available.
The murdered man, Daniel Cortez-Cisneros of Richmond, was shot and killed outside a nightclub in Richmond.
