A Chelan man is in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center after his car rolled late Sunday night.
Washington State Patrol reports indicate 18 year old Brogan Kelly left the roadway while travelling south on Highway 97 about 7 miles south of Chelan just before 11pm, then overcorrected and rolled a 2001 Volvo station wagon. The wagon came to rest on its tires in the northbound lane. Douglas County sheriff’s officials say Kelly was alert and answering questions at the time of the accident. However, emergency personnel took Kelly initially to Lake Chelan Community Hospital and then transferred him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with an undisclosed head injury. A Harborview nursing supervisor listed Kelly in serious condition late this morning.
State Patrol reports indicate officers do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident.
