Bob Wiggenstein has been selected as Lake Chelan Community Hospital’s new Chief Financial Officer. He has been serving as the hospital’s Senior Staff Accountant. Wiggenstein has extensive experience in accounting and business, however he says it’s been a crash course in health care issues. In addition to becoming familiar with the dollars and cents part of the job, he says there’s the regulatory aspect of Medicare and Medicaid and other government agencies to deal with.

As he looks ahead, the new CFO feels it’s important for the hospital to remain flexible while maintaining quality care.

Wiggenstein replaces Viola Babcock as Chief Financial Officer.
