The city of Brewster approved an agreement with the North Central Washington Drug Task Force during its latest council meeting.
According to Deputy Clerk Desha Dawson the cost to the city is about $2,000 a year.
The council also heard how leaky systems can collectively waste a large amount of water. In an attempt to help customers better track unnecessary water usage, Dawson says the city will be sending out Leak Detection Tablets with the April billing.
In other business, Scott Miller, Okanogan County Emergency Management Director, presented the county plan to the council, which the council agreed to review before its next meeting, which has been changed from Wednesday May 18th to Monday, May 23rd.
