Cowell Trial Hearing 3/28/2011
A hearing was held this morning in Chelan County Superior Court to set a date for a hearing to determine the admissibility of a piece of evidence in the case of accused murderer Christopher Wilson. Wilson is charged in the death of MacKenzie Cowell.

Superior Court Judge John Bridges set the date of April 18th for prosecution and defense to present their arguments as to why or why not statements made by a woman to murder investigators should be admitted as evidence.

The witness reported that she had been assaulted by Wilson at his apartment last year. She had been interviewed by police on October 8th, the day after Wilson was formally charged with Cowbell’s murder.

Wilson’s murder trial is scheduled to start May 31st.
