The Pateros City Council considered a broad range of topics at its latest meeting, from approval of the Shoreline Master Plan to chickens. Mayor Gail Howe said they’re happy to get the shoreline issue behind them:

In other business: the city’s Safety Committee has been meeting with representatives of the Pateros School District to address a temporary parking lot off Warren Avenue near the school.
The council also debated the issue of allowing chickens within the city limits with the topic to be revisited at their next meeting.
The council wrapped up the evening with a discussion regarding the sale of 8 surplus lots the city owns.
The next Pateros Council Meeting will be held on Monday, April 18th at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
