The Manson Apple Blossom Festival is fast approaching and many volunteers are busy working to make this 91st festival the best ever. From putting on the chicken noodle dinner, the Queen’s Pageant, building the float, and many other festival activities, it all takes a lot of volunteer hours and money.
The Manson Kiwanis has donated the money to help offset some of the cost of putting on the festival. The Kiwanians are very supportive of the festival and feels that it is an important part of Manson’s history and want to support to continue the tradition in the community. The Kiwanis meet at the Manson Grange Community Center every Wednesday at 6:30. Anyone interested in becoming part of this very active service group is welcome to come to a meeting and get more information.
The Manson Apple Blossom festival is always held the second full weekend in May. This year it is May 13th and 14th.
