In 2010 when the Manson School District purchased a building on Hill St. to relocate the Superintendents Office, that eliminated the need for the property on Quetilquasoon Rd. where the office had been housed. That is where it gets a little complicated… the modular building on the Quetilquasoon property doesn’t belong to the school district, it is owned separately by the Manson Parks District.
Last week the Manson Parks Boards declared the Bumgarner Building Surplus and made the building available to purchase through a sealed bid process.
The deadline to submit sealed bids is 2 pm Friday April 1st. The successful bidder will need to move the building within a set time frame of the purchase. The organization or company who actually moves the building must be licensed, bonded, and insured and the purchaser will be responsible for all utility disconnects.
