The Town of Twisp is a step closer to hiring a new Police Chief as Twisp Mayor Soo Ing-Moody updated the council at its latest meeting. City Clerk Jackie Moriarty tells KOZI News that was one of many topics discussed:

In other business, Moriarty said Ordinance #624 regarding allowing Alcohol in the Park was passed, with certain understandings.
Maggie Coon from the Twisp Development Authority also visited with the council about efforts to open the Methow Valley Interpretive Center.
Three Liberty Bell Seniors also presented their Senior Projects to the council, including landing a $500 grant to help find a site for a teen center in the area.
The next Twisp Town Council meeting will be Tuesday March 22nd at & PM in the Town Hall.
