A law enforcement update and funding options for area transportation projects top the Chelan City Council’s relatively short agenda for tonight’s meeting. But as Mayor Bob Goedde puts it:
Meanwhile Public Works Chief Dwane Van Epps will fill the council in on the options available to the city for funding transportation projects. Alternatives include using Sales and Use Taxes, Motor License Renewal Fees and Excess property Tax Levies.
In other business, City Administrator Jim Reinbold will present the council with a Capital Projects Priority List outlining improvements being considered by the city, with funding options to be discussed at a later meeting.
Tonight’s meeting gets underway at 6PM at city hall on Johnson Avenue.
