The Chelan City Council meets in a regularly scheduled session tonight. Among the items on the agenda, newly elected sheriff Brian Burnett will introduce the council to his new staff.

The council will also hear an update from the principal contractor for the Don Morse Park Shoreline Restoration, Beach Enhancement and Marina Expansion.

There will also be a presentation and public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant process regarding the Chelan Library expansion project.

Planning Director Dwayne Van Epps will discuss the latest on the city’s transportation plan, and to request the purchase of a used garbage truck.

The council will also review an appraisal involving the purchase of the PUD property commonly referred to as the Chamber Parking Lot.

The meeting starts tonight at 6PM at the council chambers on Johnson Avenue.
