Steven Swinford Appears Yesterday for Arraignment 2/10/2011
The Manson man accused in last month’s shooting death of Paul Raney says he’s not guilty of second degree murder. Steven Swinford appeared in Chelan County Superior Court yesterday for his arraignment. The 20 year old Swinford is accused of murdering 24 year old Raney after the two long-time friends got into an argument over an IPod and an Xbox. Swinford remains in custody at the Chelan County Jail. His bail was set at one million dollars.

If convicted of second degree murder, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison and a 50-thousand dollar fine.
