Collection for the 2 year measure would begin in January of next year and conclude in December of 2013.
Financial support from the levy is approximately 15% of the district’s total budget and covers one and a half teaching positions, classroom equipment, repairs and maintenance of buildings, transportation and food services.
The rates per $1000 of assessed value would be $1.61 for 2012 which would raise just over $1 million, and $1.66 for the year 2013 when about $1.1 million would be collected.
Ballots must be dropped in the mail box in front of the Manson Post Office by 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, or you can bring it inside until 4:30 to have it postmarked by midnight tomorrow evening. You can also drop it into the ballot box behind Chelan City Hall up until 8PM.
