Do you have a college student coming home for the summer who is looking for a job? The Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF) is accepting applications for its paid summer intern position. Candidates must be available to work in the WAEF office located in Wenatchee from mid-May through mid-August. Application deadline is March 15th.
Duties of the summer intern include assisting with all aspects of event coordination, performing office administrative tasks, participating in donor cultivation activities, contributing to the student stewardship program, working with volunteers and other activities common to non-profit operations. Opportunities to engage with tree fruit industry members and learn more about careers in the industry will be present.
The ideal candidate would have a desire to work in the tree fruit industry or non-profit sector. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite software products is required. Applicants must be enrolled in college and have completed a minimum of one year of undergraduate education.
