A medical marijuana clinic was held at the Red Lion Hotel in Wenatchee last Saturday. Best Medical Consultation of Spokane was on hand to issue medical marijuana cards to patients who qualified. But where do patients go from there? Well, if they live in the Chelan Valley area, not far. Legally registered medical marijuana users now have a local place to go to obtain their prescriptive weed.

The operator estimates there are about 100 patients or so, that represent a wide geographic area.

The concern of many people is the possibility the prescribed marijuana could be misused, but the operator says they go to great lengths to protect against recreational use.
