Apple Growers Encouraged To Make Feelings Known 1/24/2011
With the current crisis with the dwindling state budget, apple growers are encouraged to make their feelings known in Olympia next month. Bruce Grim, Executive Director of the Washington State Horticultural Association, is looking forward to February 1st when tree fruit growers from throughout the state descend on the state capital with one thing on their minds, making an impression on legislators.

Many growers who attend the annual tree fruit day bring gifts of apples to legislators as a reminder of just how good Washington State apples are. The registration form to attend the legislative session on apples can be found online at wahort.org, that’s W-A-H-O-R-T dot org.
