Douglas and Okanogan County Fire District 15 is looking for a few good firefighters. Fire District Administrator Bill Vallance says the search is on to supplement an already successful group of volunteers.

Prospective volunteers must be at least 18 years old, complete an application form available from the Fire District, pass criminal and driving background checks and complete a physical agility drill.

Anyone interested can stop by any of Fire Dist. 15’s fire stations on a Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. You can visit with current volunteers, ask any questions and pick up an application. The Fire Stations are in Brewster on 3rd Street, Pateros on Industrial Way, and in Methow behind post office. You can also give a call to Bill Vallance at 689-0216.
