Riazzi leaves the PUD to accept a management position with Duquesne Power Company, an investor owned utility in Pittsburgh.

Riazzi is returning there to be closer to his family and grandchildren.

Also at Monday's meeting, commissioners formally named financial manager John Janney as interim GM until a new full time manager is hired.

Commissioners are scheduled to meet next week to establish a GM recruitment process.
